Following our successful registration with the Care Quality Commission we’re now actively seeking care professionals in both permanent and bank roles.
You will be providing support to people who may require help with personal care tasks e.g. getting out of bed, dressing, toileting, and bathing. They may have restricted mobility, dementia and/or challenging behaviour. To provide excellent care you should be compassionate, understanding, reliable and trustworthy.
We’re offering an hourly pay rate ranging from £9.50 and £11.00, plus bank holiday enhancements and 25p per mile, to work various hours per week over seven days. We will provide a free DBS check and uniforms, and you will be paid to attend all required training.
Working in Adult Social Care is challenging but rewarding and you will be able to really make a difference to someone’s quality of life.
So if you are looking for a new challenge or change of direction, working with a new, exciting and growing organisation that puts people and the places they live in at the heart of everything they do, we want to hear from you and look forward to receiving your application.
We are new care provider, organised as a not-for-profit community business owned and democratically controlled by members of the Colne Valley community. The people we care for and the people who work for us can also become members and co-owners of the organisation, co-operating together to shape the future of the organisation. We provide home based care and community support services in the Colne Valley area of Kirklees. There’s more about us here.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete this simple expression of interest form to let us know a bit more about you, and we’ll be in touch.
If you would like an informal chat to find out more about the role and our organisation, please call Sue Richards on 07584 013831.
Closing date: November 20th 2020.
