Our Registered Manager Danielle and Board Member Stephanie attended the Huddersfield Macular Society Support Group on Wednesday to discuss all the ways in which Co-operative Care Colne Valley could help assist their members with our home care services.
The Huddersfield Macular Society is a self help support group for those suffering from macular degeneration. The Society meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Huddersfield Town Hall between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
There is a short formal meeting which is followed by a speaker on health information or related topics. The volunteers also arrange social days out and luncheons throughout the year.

Danielle and Stephanie really enjoyed meeting all the wonderful members and had a chance to chat to everyone during the morning. It’s a very friendly and relaxed setting and is a real credit to the volunteers and committee who run the group!
