The Covid 19 Crisis has proved that we need a better sort of domiciliary social care. More holistic and person-centred. One that moves beyond providing just basic care and allows people to lead fuller lives. One that treats care professionals with the respect they deserve. The crisis has also revealed the potential of ‘good neighbourliness’, as millions of people across the UK have stepped up to help vulnerable people.
Our innovative service will bring these together and Build Back Better in social care / home care in all parts of the Colne Valley: Marsden, Slaithwaite, Linthwaite, Golcar, Milnsbridge and everywhere in between!
Our co-operative approach enables all the people receiving and delivering care in our community – service users and their families, staff and community members – to work together in one democratic, not for profit social enterprise. We are deliberately place-based, dedicated to serving the needs of people in the Colne Valley.
