Our Community Share Offer is live. We're seeking to raise £150,000 to enable us to commence operations later this summer, providing a domiciliary care service for older people in the locality. Our Share Offer went live on July 1st, and the offer closes at midnight on July 31st.
We have published our Business Plan and Share Offer Document. We are using social media, our mailing lists, and working with our supporters and partners to get the word out about our share offer, aiming to reach as many people in the Colne Valley as we can.
Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic has thrust the whole issue of social care into the spotlight, it has also created a challenge for our awareness-raising. We had originally planned to hold local events in Marsden, Slaithwaite, and Milnsbridge to enable more people to learn about the Community Share Offer, and get answers to their questions. Sadly we're not able to do that, so as an alternative we're hosting this online gathering.
